Anton & Maxine is a handmade, slow fashion brand based in Columbia, SC, dedicated to creating elegant, bespoke-quality clothing for individuals who value exceptional fit, comfort, and fine detail. Founded by Diko Pekdemir-Lewis in 2014, the brand reflects Diko's upbringing in Germany, where her tailor father and singer mother inspired her creative journey and passion for craftsmanship. Growing up surrounded by custom-tailored clothes, Diko understood early on the transformative power of well-made garments.

At Anton & Maxine, our mission is simple: to empower women and men to express themselves through timeless, high-quality, and versatile garments that combine elegance, comfort, and minimalism. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and expertly tailored in-house by Diko herself, using carefully selected high-quality fabrics made in the USA. While we use both natural and non-natural fibers, all materials are chosen for their superior feel, durability, and sustainability.

Anton & Maxine operates on a made-to-order model to promote sustainability and minimize overproduction. Our small-batch collections—ranging from XS to XL—include unique, one-of-a-kind items that are crafted to last, season after season.
