What makes Anton & Maxine different from other clothing brands? Unlike mass-produced fashion brands, Anton & Maxine creates small-batch collections and one-of-a-kind garments in-house. Each piece is designed with attention to fit, quality, and timeless style.
Who designs the clothing?All Anton & Maxine garments are designed and produced by founder and designer Diko Pekdemir-Lewis, who oversees every step of the process from concept and pattern making to construction.
Products & Collections
Are your garments handmade? Yes. Every Anton & Maxine garment is designed, cut, and sewn in our Columbia atelier.
Do you offer one-of-a-kind clothing? Yes. In addition to seasonal collections, we create one-of-a-kind garments made from carefully selected fabrics and textile combinations.
What fabrics do you use? We primarily work with linen, rayon jersey, ponte knit, wool blends, denim, and other high-quality textiles selected for comfort, durability, and drape.
Are your clothes made in the USA? Yes. All Anton & Maxine garments are made in-house in Columbia, South Carolina.
Are your collections limited edition? Many of our collections are produced in small batches, while some garments are completely one-of-a-kind.

What sizes do you offer?Most Anton & Maxine garments are available in sizes XS through XL.

Atelier & Tailoring Services
Do you offer clothing alterations? Yes. We provide select alteration and tailoring services for men's and women's professional wardrobes.
What alterations do you offer? Services include hemming pants, adjusting waists, shortening sleeves, and other common garment alterations.
Do I need an appointment for alterations? Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins may be accommodated depending on availability.
Do you alter garments not purchased from Anton & Maxine? Yes. We alter garments purchased elsewhere as well.

Where can I shop Anton & Maxine in Columbia, SC? You can shop directly at our atelier boutique located in downtown Columbia.
Can I meet the designer?Yes. Because production and retail happen in the same space, customers often have the opportunity to meet the designer and learn about the creation process.
Do you participate in First Thursday on Main? Yes. Anton & Maxine regularly participates in First Thursday on Main events in downtown Columbia.
Do you host special shopping events? Yes. We occasionally host soft openings, Sip & Shop events, trunk shows, and designer meet-and-greets.
Sustainability. Is Anton & Maxine a sustainable fashion brand?Anton & Maxine prioritizes thoughtful production, small-batch manufacturing, and the use of fabric remnants in one-of-a-kind designs to reduce textile waste.
Why do you create one-of-a-kind garments? One-of-a-kind pieces allow us to utilize unique fabric combinations, preserve craftsmanship, and create clothing that reflects individual expression rather than mass production.
What does artisan-made clothing mean? Artisan-made clothing refers to garments created by skilled makers in small quantities, with attention to craftsmanship, quality, and longevity.
Ordering & Payment. What payment methods does Anton & Maxine accept? We accept all major credit cards and secure online payments through our website.
Will I receive an order confirmation? Yes. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order.
Shipping
Where does Anton & Maxine ship? Currently, we ship within the United States.
How long does shipping take? Ready-to-ship items are typically shipped within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order garments are generally shipped within 5–10 business days.
Do I receive tracking information? Yes. Tracking information will be emailed once your order has shipped.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?For ready-to-ship items, exchanges are accepted for a different size of the same style. Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and have original tags attached.
Can I return a made-to-order garment? Due to the custom nature of made-to-order garments, all made-to-order sales are final.
What if my item arrives damaged? Please contact us immediately at info@antonandmaxine.com so we can assist you.
Sizing
How do I choose the correct size? Please refer to our sizing guide. If you have questions, we are happy to help you determine the best fit.

Garment Care
How should I care for my Anton & Maxine garments? Most garments can be machine washed cold or hand washed, then hung to dry. We recommend steaming rather than tumble drying whenever possible. Please follow the care instructions included with your garment.
